Pumpkin Carving Contest 2001
October 27, 2001
Manasquan Inlet Railroad Bridge
The annual pumpkin carving contest will be October 27, 2001 at slack tide, 5:13 P.M. We would suggest that you get there 30-60 minutes prior since parking is limited. This has been a fun even in the past with warm waters for New Jersey and visibility from good to poor.
In 1999 there were 12 members who showed up for the contest.
2000 also saw 12 members attending this fun event.
Catagories of prises are as follows:
Most Original
Funniest
Traditional
Honorable mention
The rules are simple. All pumpkins must be carved underwater with your regular dive knife. The decision of the judges is final. Photographs will be taken. They will also make the next club meeting.
Everyone had fun and was looking forward to this years contest.
