Just a reminder always do a safety stop. The purpose is of off gas Nitrogen from the body prior to surfacing from your dive.
A good reference is to us the anchor line from the boat. Once you reach your safety stop of 15 feet adjust you buoyancy so you are slightly negative. Keep a close eye on your depth and your air as well as the clock. If you find yourself starting to ascend release some air from your BCD. After the stop begin to ascend watching out for any thing that may injure you on your final ascent.
Remember always look out for number one that way you can tell the tails for what you saw and log another successful dive in your log book. Ascend with one hand extended to feel for any thing that you may not see on your ascent. This should always be done with your initial ascent and any time you are ascending after a safety stop.
Once on board the boat or back a on land complete your long and follow the dive tables before the next dive. They are for your safety so you can enjoy SCUBA diving for many years to come.
REMEMBER don't cut the safety stop short since the only one you are hurting is yourself.
