The Mid Florida DX Association will be giving a FREE Technician class. The only cost will be for the study guide which each student must purchase from the ARRL for $24.95.         (The ARRL Ham Radio License Manual. First edition, third printing. © 2006-2007, The American Radio Relay League, Inc.



Classes will run from 7-9 PM for 8 weeks. Instruction will include:

  • Radio and Electronics Fundamentals
  • Operating Station Equipment
  • Communicating with Other Hams
  • Licensing Regulations
  • Operating Regulations
  • Radio Safety

    We have planned the class to end just prior to the next testing session on November 8, 2008 10:30 AM- 12:00 noon.

    You will be ready to take the exam knowing you know the material and not just the answers.
