Easily confused with Fort De Soto park in Pinellas County, Florida which is nearby.
Our WX was about 81 degrees and sunny. Wished the band conditions were as good, SFI-93 A-48 K-5. We worked 350 QSO's. The park is on the Manatee River which empties to the Gulf. We have many approximately 50 people asking what we were doing. Many were familiar with Ham radio. Several visitors have family members who are hams.
